What do you collect?

Other than junk, as my wife calls it, (you and I know it as “electronica”; Old addon cards, PSU’s, CPU’s, old HDD’s; you know, all the stuff to build that freenas server!) I collect movie posters.  I’m in the pest control business, hence the theme. Lately I’ve been thinking about broadening the scope of the theme because I’ve been unable to find any more ant movies which have posters that I would be willing to display, although I have been tempted to get a few from some of those great Sci-Fi bug thrillers from the 70′s. Some posters from The Beatles or a few featuring Volkswagon Beetles, perhaps. 

I buy the posters on eBay and then have custom frames made by a local framer. The total cost varies depending on the rarity of the posters. So far mine have been under $200.00 each. 

I’m always looking to add to my collection so if you see something that you think I might like, let me know. I already have Antz, by the way. I loved Sharon Stone and Gene Hackman in that one!

If you start a collection of your own and will be displaying them in an office or any room with fluorescent lighting, be sure to spend the extra few bucks on UV filtering glass.
