Hagar is one of the premier lyricists of our time and he’s collaborating with groove’s most humble servant, Michael Anthony, Red Hot Funky Pepper, Chad Smith, and Richard B. Riddick aka Joe Effing Satriani as the oddly named band “Chickenfoot”

Are you as anxious as I am to hear what Red VooDoo this Chickenfoot is conjuring up for us?

As one of those “you can’t whiz in my ear and make me believe it’s raining” types that thinks Hagar>Roth and Picard>Kirk, I am definitely looking forward to it.

The last time I was this excited about a new collaboration was when Chris Cornell joined the Rage crew to form Audioslave.
