Eloi, A Priest’s Tale. Part 1

I set this thing up thinking that I had some things that I wanted to archive and share. Now I’m wondering where to start.
Here’s the forum signature I’m currently using, I’ll start with that because it’s easy to do. If you’re an active World of Warcraft player, you can create them for your characters at http://sigs.guildlaunch.net .

As you can see, my main character is a Female Night Elf Shadow Priest. I also have a level 64 Dwarf Hunter named Pavlov and a 62 Human Rogue named Schlage.
Schlage was created on November 23, 2004. Those familiar with WoW will recognize the significance of that date. My wife created Eloi on my account when Schlage was ~ level 40. She eventually leveled to 60. Once character transfers were made available, with the intent to play together, I moved Eloi onto her own account. Out of boredom my wife created a character on the horde side and she hasn’t played Alliance since. She now has a 70 Troll Warrior, Crulishious, and a 70 Undead Priest, Scarymary.
Upon growing frustrated with trying to get groups with the rogue, I played Eloi a few times and found that I enjoyed playing a healer. Following months of work to obtain the full devout set, and after experiencing something called an “Open Raid” in Molten Core, I left my small guild and joined <Council of the Dedicated>.
We raided Molten Core until we had it on “farm” status and started in Blackwing Lair. Shortly after experiencing some minor progress in BWL, The Burning Crusade was released and off we went in search of bigger and better things. True Story. -Eloi
