Priest crits Rogue, A Real Life PvP duel

In RL I manage a branch office for a pest control firm. Occasionally I have to work a Saturday at our main branch. A few months ago I was working one of those Saturdays and overheard a field rep talking about “ganking this and ganking that” with his rogue on World of Warcraft. I asked him what server he played on and thus began the typical geekspeak exchange that induces nausea in those not cut from the nerd cloth.

Today, that same technician reported to my branch as a temporary replacement for an employee I just lost. He was having difficulty downloading his daily work to his PocketPC and brought it into my office for assistance saying; “This thing isn’t working at all, I guess I’ll have to run on paper today.” I opened some menus on the PocketPC and chatted with him casually while I clicked and beeped through menus with the stylus. (He apparently didn’t recognize me right away) Less than a minute after I started working on the unit, I handed it back and said; “You’re good to go”. Seeming amazed, he asked; “How did you do that?”

I said; “I’m a priest, you’re a rogue”.

Jaw agape, he instantly recognized me and replied; ”Oooh pwnd”.
